Experience

Timothy joined Aquiline in 2019 and serves as partner and head of Aquiline’s credit team. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Managing Director at Tennenbaum Capital Partners since 2008, where he invested across the capital structure in liquid and illiquid credit, stressed and special situations, distressed securities and private equity transactions. Prior to joining Tennenbaum, he spent two years with Macquarie Capital in Toronto, Canada investing in private equity transactions for the Macquarie Global Opportunities Fund and other Macquarie managed funds and four years at RBC Capital Markets working in both the mergers & acquisitions and global leveraged & Syndicated finance groups. He started his career at Royal Bank of Canada in the credit risk analysis group managing bank exposure to corporate loans.
