Chris serves as co-lead of the insurance team and has been a part of Aquiline since its launch in 2005.
His expertise is reflected in the variety of executive roles he has held within the property and casualty insurance businesses of Citigroup and its predecessor entities. While president and chief executive officer of Gulf Insurance Group, he also served on the risk committee and planning group for Travelers’ insurance operations. Previously, Chris held the titles of executive vice president and then president of Commercial Insurance Resources, Inc., a specialty lines insurance company subsidiary of Commercial Credit/Citigroup. Earlier in his career, Chris worked in various management positions at American International Group.
His current investments include Armour, ERS, Validus, Wellington, and Worley. Previously Chris worked with Beach (sold to Acrisure in 2018), Ark (sold to management in 2016), Simply Business (sold to Travelers in 2017), and Wright (sold to Brown & Brown in 2014).
